Our Story
At the core of Secret Prayer Sisters is the idea of bringing women together in a unique and meaningful way. This event is a blend of mystery, sisterhood, and, most importantly, the transformative power of prayer. Over the years, I've witnessed the incredible impact it has had on the lives of countless women, creating lasting connections and fostering a deeper relationship with God.
The Essence of Secret Prayer Sisters
Connecting Hearts:
When you sign up for Secret Prayer Sisters, you enter into a community where women connect on a spiritual level. As you fill out your form, you'll draw the name of another participant, and she becomes your Secret Prayer Sister. She becomes your silent prayer partner, your secret up-lifter. It's a beautiful dance of anonymous encouragement and support.
Keeping it a Secret:
The mystery adds an extra layer of excitement. Your Secret Prayer Sister doesn't know who picked her, and you don't know who picked you! But rest assured, someone is caring for you in that special way. Throughout the event, we keep our prayer sisters a secret, adding an element of anticipation and fun. And at the grand finale, we unveil the 'secret sisters' to each other.
The Goal: Intentional Prayer
Building Bonds:
Our overarching goal is to foster intentional prayer among sisters. By becoming silent prayer partners, we embark on a journey of spiritual growth and sisterhood. It's about lifting each other up in prayer and building bonds that extend beyond the event.
Weekly Notes of Encouragement:
Each week, we encourage participants to send a note or greeting card to their Secret Prayer Sister. A simple act that speaks volumes—letting her know that someone is praying on her behalf. No elaborate gifts, just the power of heartfelt words and intentional prayer.
Revealing the Beauty:
While the event is shrouded in mystery, the focus on prayer remains steadfast. We reserve gift-giving until the very end when each sister is revealed. It's a moment of joy as we celebrate the bonds formed, prayers answered, and the beauty of sisterhood unveiled.
